Please find below the list of requirements:
- A passport should be valid for a minimum of six months from the date of intended arrival in Brazil.
- One application form per applicant provided by the Embassy, typed or printed, dated and signed by the holder of the passport.
- One passport size photograph (5cm by 4cm) in colour or black or white, front view. Please,NO SNAP SHOTS.
- A letter (on a letterhead), from applicant`s employer, addresed to the Consular Department, stating the employee`s designation, how long he or she has worked for the company or organisation. State clearly in the letter the nature of activities to be performed in Brazil, as well as the duration of stay. If applicant is self employed an additional letter will be required from his or her bank, containing financial references.
- A letter of invitation from the Brazilian company or organisation.
- A confirmed travel itinerary or an issued return ticket.
- A certificate of Vaccination against Yellow Fever is necessary.
- The Embassy will not process visas of applicants who do not reside in its jurisdiction: Zimbabwe,Zambia and Malawi.
- Please do not apply for a visa earlier than one month before your planned departure date
- Consular Officers will only receive applications from applicants, who are able to comply with the aforementioned requirements. Furthermore , the aforementioned requirements should not in any way be considered all inclusive. The Embassy reserves the right to apply additional requirements when necessary. We require at least FOUR working days to process the visa
- Consular fee: Z$60 000 000.00. There is an additional fee of ; Z$30 000 000.00 the application is not presented in person by the holder of the passport.

- Prior to depositing the consular fees, the applicant should first seek approval from the Consular Section.
- Once approved, the applicant should then deposit the consular fees into the Embassy bank account, A/C No.01400653098-01, at Stanbic Bank , Minerva Branch Ground Floor SSC Building, Cnr Sam Nujoma St/Julius Nyerere Way, Harare. Please bring bank proof of cash deposit.
Telegraphic Transfers, Cheques and Traveller`s Cheques will not be accepted.
NOTE: It is the responsibility of the applicant to make certain that the application is lodged accordingly.Any incorrect or misleading information given may result in the refusal of requested visa or its cancellation at any stage.
Bearers of Tourist and Business visas or attending Conferences etc.,may not engage in gainful employment of any kind in Brazil.
